1. Key Benefits
---------------

Maintain file systems and documents securely:

Transfer files across networks and the Internet with a choice
of SSH2 SFTP, FTPS (FTP/TLS), HTTPS (WebDAV and Amazon S3),
SCP, or FTP and HTTP for access to legacy systems.

Get started quickly:

Connect to sessions from the main application window using the
Connect bar, then organize those sessions with the easy-to-learn
  tabbed interface.

Leverage the high-productivity UI:

Drag and drop files to start transfers (Windows only), even
between SecureFX and applications like WinZip. Quickly find the
files you want to work with using the filter view, bookmarks,
  and the address bar.

Synchronize files. Upload, download, and mirror files:

Use filtering to include or exclude files or file types. Store
  configurations for multiple sites.

Recover more easily when transfers fail:

SecureFX works to complete interrupted transfers, automatically
  resuming multi-file transfers.

Implement smart cards for highly secure, two-factor authentication.
SecureFX supports X.509 smart cards (PIV/CAC) with the ability to
select a specific certificate to be used for public-key authenti-
  cation.

2. New in SecureFX 9.6
----------------------

Easily export and share specific sessions or folders with more
control over what settings are included in the export file.

Change the hostname or IP address for multiple sessions at the same
time.

Quickly access your bookmarks from the address bar.

Here are some of the new features in SecureFX 9.6:

More control over XML export settings

Easily export and share only the session settings you want. Select
specific folders and sessions and choose whether or not to include
sensitive data like usernames and passwords in the export XML file.
Update selected sessions across workstations without completely
  overriding the existing setup.

New ways to save time

Change hostname for multiple sessions: Change the hostname or IP
address for a group of sessions, saving time, especially when a
  jump host’s IP address changes.

Bookmark button: Access your bookmarks from the address bar with
  the click of a button.

Specify initial filters: Set initial filters for the local and
  remote directories.

Dark mode (Linux)

The system appearance Light or Dark setting is honored by the
SecureFX application window. (Already supported on Windows and
  macOS.)

New platform support

SecureFX now supports macOS 15 (Sequoia) and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
  64-bit.

Other enhancements

Local proxy command (macOS and Linux): A new firewall type, "Proxy
command", allows a local proxy command to be run when connecting to
a remote server. (Already supported on Windows.)

POSIX rename: Added support for the posix-rename@openssh.com
  extension.

SCP enhancements: SCP is supported for NetMRI devices.

OpenSSH trusted certificates: OpenSSH trusted certificates can be
  accepted as host keys.
